Monkey Magic at Sweet Adelines Region 31

Well we've all just got back from a weekend at Birmingham Symphony Hall where we were honoured to be able to sing on the stage.

More importantly though we were able to support many of our friends who were competing and boy did they do well...

We'd like to say congratulations to our very good friends in Breakthrough who sang spectacularly and got a nice shiny bronze medal to prove it.

Storm took the audience by errr... storm and came away with a silver medal! According to Michelle their baritone I am her best friend (she may have had a few drinks by then?) so I feel a certain pride for them doing so well.

Blush! surprised themselves by coming 6th but nobody who saw them perform expected anything less from them, look out for them next year, they're definitely going places!

Eu4ia took the gold medal for the quartet competition and sang with their usual style and class. It's always a pleasure to see them on stage!

Last but not least Lace City, under the talented direction of Mr Glenn Chaney, brought home the gold medal in the chorus competition. Their performance almost made me cry but I didn't because I'm macho and manly.

So congratulations to everyone that took part, it was a truly amazing weekend and one I will struggle to forget for quite some time!
